The FBI is to resume operations out of its local office in Montgomery, Red County, after a brief hiatus. Previously, the Montgomery Resident Agency was temporarily closed, with its operations folded into the Los Santos Field Office due to unforeseen local circumstances.
With the new appointment of a new Sheriff to the Red County Sheriff's Office, as part of a new local effort to improve public services in Red County, the FBI has similarly decided to renew its focus on the area, appointing a new Supervisory Resident Agent in charge.
Director Christopher Wray has named Evelyn Mercer as the special agent in charge of the Montgomery Resident Agency of the Los Santos Field Office. Ms. Mercer most recently served in local law enforcement in the Red County area.
