False statements to a Federal Officer

A person who, in any matter within the jurisdiction of any federal agency of the United States:

1. Knowingly and willfully makes any false, fictitious or fraudulent statements or representations;
2. Falsifies, conceals, or covers up by any trick, scheme, or device a material fact;
3. Makes or uses any false writing or document containing any materially false, fictitious, or fraudulent statement or entry.
