    1. A person who willfully and unlawfully conceals, removes, mutilates, obliterates, or destroys, or attempts to do so, or, with intent to do so takes and carries away any record, proceeding, map, book, paper, document, or other thing known to be the subject of a criminal investigation, subpoenaed as part of a criminal investigation, or filed as a record of a government institution.

    Concealment, removal, or destruction of records is a Federal Offense, punished by Imprisonment for 30 minutes
